History of Bubba's Scrambler

b.jpg

The scrambler was purchased in October of 1999 bone stock. Since then its undergone many changes! In the winter of '99 we starting tearing it apart at a friends shop (Thanks Buster!). We pulled the stock motor, trans, tcase, and axles. Then installed a AMC 360, T-18, D20 and 3/4 (D44 and D60) axles with 4.56 gears and 38in. Gumbo Monster Mudders. Our suspension consisted of outboarding the front springs, 3.5 in. YJ BDS Springs in front 4in. CJ BDS Springs in rear. This set-up was fine....for a while.

Then in 2001, I picked up a D60 front axle with 4.56 gears, so in it goes, along with a 14bolt out of a van with matching gears for the rear, also, after some trading around I got some 42's fo the jeep. Also around this time the motor developed some problems so it was pulled in favor of a good running 304, which still resides in the jeep.
